We are fundamentally made of earth. We are born from the Great Mother, and then grow to reach out to the stars with our hearts and minds. The first star we all see and feel gives us warmth during the day, and lights up the moon at night.

It is no surprise then that we collectively experience and feel Earth changes, even if we tend to interpret these things in highly personal ways.

There seems to be a growing awareness of the great shifts happening within our planet. Similar changes and shifts are occurring across each body in the solar system, beginning with the star at the heart of this system.

“As above, so below. As below, so above”.

Just like weather patterns, our emotional states are but surface level manifestations of a great many factors, including but not limited to what is happening inside our hearts and minds, our bodies, and our environment – who we surround ourselves with, along with the physicality of the space we occupy for much of our day.

My sense is that the Earth itself is shifting, expanding, and evolving. I recently heard, for example, about a master dowser who has discovered that the energy over the Earth’s ley lines are strengthening. He believes that ley lines in the Earth are magnifying our emotions, making things feel more and more intense. This is happening at the same time that the Earth’s magnetic shielding is weakening, allowing more cosmic energy to enter our atmosphere.

This is great contrast, aligned with the movement of the solar system as it makes its own journey across the galactic plane in the Milky Way. As of 2012, we have entered an area of the Milky Way that contains fields of energy we have not experienced on this planet since last time we were here, many, many thousands of years ago.

I am receiving very clear guidance at this time. The guidance is clear even though what is happening in my own life and the world around me is anything but.

We are being asked to step up our game, to define and express with greater clarity who we are and what we really care about in life. In short, we are being called to grow and expand alongside the Great Mother. What’s key is to know and trust that we also have the support of not only our Sun but also the central Sun, the star at the center of the galaxy.

What Does Any of This Mean?

It means that you may personally feel like you are being tested on a daily basis. It probably feels like the stakes are higher than they’ve ever been, and like no one could possibly understand. And to top it off, things are happening and changing very quickly — all while you may be feeling stuck in the mud.

It’s intense, sometimes exciting, sometimes dreadful, and full of risks and unknowns that may cause you want to crawl back into bed before the day even begins.

Sound familiar? You are not alone.

What’s the Solution?

It’s not really a problem that needs to be solved. It’s a phase or cycle that needs to proceed. What’s more, the more awakened, alive, and centered you are – the easier the journey will be.

Here are a few tips:

  1. Practice acceptance and allowing. If a feeling, worry, or concern rises up from your un/subconscious – it’s better to accept its existence and to let it go than it is to push it back down. This doesn’t mean giving into it, or overly focusing on it. It simply means accept that it’s there and then make the conscious choice to let it go. This can be incredibly uncomfortable. And it calls for a lot of self-love and compassion along the way. These are energies that will help guide you long after the immediate sensations dissipate.
  2. Practice greater compassion towards others. Understand that a lot of people are in a lot of pain. When people are in pain, it can be difficult to be kind, or aware of other people’s feelings. When people are in pain, they can act out in anger. Don’t take any of it personally. Also, practicing compassion doesn’t mean putting yourself in harm’s way or putting up with other people’s crap. It just means to try your best to not judge and lay your own narrative on top of the burdens that others are already working through.
  3. Don’t get overly wrapped up in how things appear. For a great many events unfolding around you – it’s unlikely you’ll know the full story, and even less likely it would be in your best interests even if you could know.
  4. Trust your gut, now more than ever. Trust that you will feel when you are supposed to be and get involved in something, and then go for it. Even if it’s uncomfortable.
  5. Stay in the light.
